Race members / World's Best 10k
The World's Best 10k race originated as a celebration of the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge's fourth anniversary, which began operations on February 23, 1994. From the beginning the idea was to make an outstanding race. To achieve this objective, everybody was invited to be part of this project: businessmen, the Government, the community, the press and people from the sport's world. The main idea was to thank the community for all the support they gave the bridge in those first four years of operation. The race, a 10 kilometers route, evolved from a local to an international event achieving the participation of local and international runners - both professional and amateur. The number of participants grew and nowadays, the race is the largest and most important family sporting event in Puerto Rico.
